Spring is right around the corner, and that means Cactus League Baseball is gearing up for another exciting season in Arizona. Whether you're a die-hard fan or just looking for a fun day at the ballpark, Spring Training 2025 will deliver an unforgettable experience. Plus, there’s no better place to get up close and personal with your favorite teams—fans can access the backfields, watch players train, and even score autographs from rising stars and seasoned veterans.
Big changes are coming to the Cactus League this year, as Major League Baseball will be testing an automated strike zone challenge system in select games. This cutting-edge technology will be in play for about 60% of spring training games, giving fans a first look at potential future rule changes.
“The Cactus League has always been a testing ground for MLB innovations, from the pitch clock to instant replay,” said Cactus League Executive Director Bridget Binsbacher. “This will be an exciting addition for fans and a unique way to see baseball’s future unfold in real time.”
If you’ve ever disagreed with a call behind home plate, this new system will give teams the opportunity to challenge certain ball-and-strike decisions—just like instant replay.
The Los Angeles Dodgers, fresh off their 2024 World Series victory, will be returning to Camelback Ranch for Spring Training. Their final Cactus League game will be on March 11, before heading to Japan to open the regular season against the Chicago Cubs.
