Winning Lineup
As a state-of-the-art sports facility, State Farm Stadium in Glendale boasts an impressive history. It’s hosted three NFL Super Bowls, two NCAA Men’s Final Four championships, a College Football Playoff National Championship, and it’s been the go-to host for the Fiesta Bowl since 2007. It also serves as the home of the NFL’s Arizona Cardinals.
But it’s not all about the games here. State Farm Stadium is one of the top stops for internationally touring top-level musical talent. Think: U2, Taylor Swift, The Rolling Stones, Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar, Garth Brooks, Morgan Wallen and more. When it comes to bucket-list-worthy stadium concerts, there’s no place more iconic than State Farm Stadium. Here’s what’s on deck this year.
Concertgoers in search of shows beyond State Farm Stadium – especially those in town for Cactus League Spring Training – will find fun at sports-themed music festivals featuring dozens of renowned acts. February’s Innings Fest in Tempe kicks off spring training season with two days and multiple stages for bands like Mumford & Sons, Lord Huron, Sublime, Dashboard Confessional and Cage the Elephant to play fan-favorite songs. And in March, Out of the Park Music Fest in Surprise closes spring training season with a packed lineup of country-music performances at Mark Coronado Park, located next to Surprise Stadium, the spring training home of Kansas City Royals and Texas Rangers.
